Black and White Couch

Is there a better feeling than relaxing after a long day on a black and white couch? With my sister so impressed with the recent sofa’s we bought, she’s looking to do the same. Let me show you the items that I think are the best and why I chose them.

Firstly, I’d better go into detail on how this occurred, something I’m sure you’ve run into before.

After we’d recently upgraded to our own leather sofa and loveseat, the news of this had spread around the family and any excuse for them to come to our home and test them out was used!

With a few hours of planning how on earth we were going to fit everyone in, my sister decided to surprise us by showing up unexpectedly- it’s always a nice surprise! My sister’s home is very much of a modern design, with the décor to match, however, she tends to struggle to find furniture to add that glossy feel to her rooms-especially at the right price!

It was only a matter of minutes when testing our sofa that she fell in love with the comfort of it, but her main issue was finding the same comfort in a slightly differently design of couch to match her own home decor.

‘I need it exactly like this style but a mixture of colours…the icing on the cake for my living room’ she said. Next thing you know her and my wife were looking through the magazines we’d initially used for some ideas for our furniture, knowing the success we had online it was now my turn to find something she'd love!

Let me move onto the items I liked best.

The uniqueness of furniture is something we all like to have as it gives us that feeling that no-one else has a certain style or design like ours, an attractive feature that we highlight when talking to friends and family about it! The white and black sofa and loveseat is a prime example of that, the combination of the two traditional colours, with a modern twist in looks, emphasises that you can create a ‘wow factor’ from what are the perceived to be the ‘simpler’ colours on the colour spectrum.

The chrome legs feature on this specific model is an unusual addition that caught my interest, the sleek nature of them matching the stylish tufted padded backs and overstuffed arms not only enhance the look of the room but have an incredibly luxurious benefit- who doesn’t love extra comfort?

The two toned aesthetics on this black and white couch set is a design to be admired. With contemporary leather used, the couch, loveseat and chair not only combine together magnificently but give a large array of seating room- even enough to stretch out on after a long day!

The ‘traditional’ couch look of having thick, high rising arms to rest upon can become a small pain if you have the potential for a lot of people needing seating space! Whether that is a larger amount of people in the family like mine, or you have a lot of guests and friends visiting, the craving for extra seating space is at its peak when you’re all squeezing onto the limited space of the older designed couches.

Consequently, with this couch set that will no longer be an issue, the flatter, smoother shaped armrests mean they’re still available to rest upon if needed when watching your favourite shows, but thankfully are in place to be used as an extra place to perch on when the room gets a little more crowded! That’s something that really stuck out for me with this item as the versatility of the arm rests is rare in design yet practical in function.

Sectional Sofa Black and White

The best way to maximise space if you have an unusually shaped room is often to go for a sectional sofa, so to have it in the increasingly popular black and white colour scheme I’ve got a feeling that my sister and many others may find this their favourite of the picks.

The rounded design of this sofa differentiates itself from the ‘standard’ sectional style as it’s able to match the layout of your room plan, without taking up too much walking room or awkwardly filling usable spaces. The built-in footrests allow you to still put your feet and up and relax even with a sofa full of friends and family, often only done when the room is empty!

This additional resting spot compliments the adjustable headrests, most sofas with a standard headrest are underutilised by most of us, unable to lean back and enjoy the softness of the padding- the moveable one’s on this couch mean we can make use of these extra comforts after all!

With my sister spending hours measuring and contemplating designs, she should have her black and white couch here within a few weeks, I’m sure if she needs anyone to test it out she’ll have plenty of volunteers!

Check out the black and white couches I found above and let me know what you think of them!
