Olympic Weight Set with Bench

What a purchase this Olympic weight set with bench has turned out to have been! We’re slowly building up our home gym with a range of equipment; my brothers are even thinking about getting another one- let me show you what I’ve found for them.

Before I go on, I’ll go into the details of how this equipment came to our attention, something you’re probably familiar with yourself!

I’d been a fan of using smaller, more basic equipment for years, as it was all I’d been used to at my local gym, however as time went on and I started to progress through the weights I noticed I might have been reaching the limit of my surroundings.

Don’t get me wrong, the standard equipment most gyms have is fantastic for beginners, even for the occasional usage by the experienced pro’s, but there can come a time when you suddenly find yourself getting close to the max of what that machine or bench can give you. Then it’s time to progress!

Rather than leaving it until the last minute and losing out on valuable gym time, my preparations to set up my own home gym were underway when one of my brothers suggested: “why don’t we get a range of beginner-experienced equipment so it’s more practical to progress?”

What a good idea that sounded, so I started looking for some Olympic benches online, preferably with a set of weights to keep the costs down, let me show you what I discovered!

The hardest part I’ve found initially with setting up a home gym is designing the layout. Trying to fit in all the must-have pieces of equipment, making sure there is room for as many compound exercises as possible, yet still, have enough space to move around!  A combination of these types of equipment is always something to be on the lookout for, so I was astounded when I came across this squat rack and Olympic weight set with a bench.

Normally the mixture of the bench and squat rack can massively inflate the price, however, when I stumbled upon this item, it is great value compared to other similar models- plus it comes with a weight set!  Ideal for just starting out with the home gym experience like myself, having the bench to perform a variety of chest, back and arm exercises, evidently the squat racks adds the major muscle group of legs to the lists of exercises covered by this great piece of kit!

Attempting to find a good-quality Olympic bench with a sufficient amount of weights included can be a task in itself, however, I’m sure the items I found will cover that. The 300lb (100-140kg) weight set included in this item is what makes it stand out compared to other similar models. You not only get more than enough weights to help on your quest on gaining muscle mass, also a large weight capacity so there is no more worrying of how much the bench can handle!

Something I like about this item is the additional leg developer and preacher curl attachments, so whilst you set out your routine for chest, you can add in the leg, ab and arm exercises to ensure your training almost every muscle group, all from just one piece of equipment! The practical pros of this bench seem endless, having such a variety of training equipment at your disposal, within one area of your home gym and still leaving space for other pieces of equipment if needed!

Even if you just fancied adding a bench to your home to co-inside with your gym work, the joint weight set and Olympic bench combo will take your training to another level, for relatively little cost in comparison to similar models!

The ability to strength train without compromising on potential consequences would be a great luxury for us all, which is what the Olympic weight set and power rack are designed for!
