Black Corner Desk with Hutch

You always feel you need that little bit extra desk space and this black corner desk with hutch does just the job! Now my brother is looking to set his own business up from home a desk like this could fit the room perfectly. I’ll show you the others I liked best whilst searching online.

Before that, I’d better explain how this came about, something I’m sure you can relate too!

I’ve had my old office desk set up for so long now I can barely even remember putting it together! It’s become a cornerstone of the family furniture; you’ll find a bit of everything on there, whether that’s USB sticks, documents, phone chargers or empty glasses, it always seems clogged up! I try (emphasis on the try here) to be an organised person but every time I seem to clear items off, others appear as if by magic!

I was sitting watching TV one night and just as I was about to doze off to sleep an advert appeared, an advert for a corner desk- more importantly with a hutch to ensure the main desk can be kept clutter free!

With that inspiration in mind, I took to the web to find one in black to match the colour of my old desk, let’s move onto what I’ve found.

Corner-shaped desks are always beneficial in most offices for space saving purposes, something I like about them is they won’t take up much of your office space but are plenty big enough to house computer screens, keyboards and even the odd snack plate that may end up on there! Being so open on the bottom means you’ll have plenty of leg room, a weakness that some desks share but this one does not, you’ll be able to freely move and stretch your legs as you work- without the sudden cramp pain surging down your legs as you’re doing something important!

The hutch feature is ideal for anyone, like me, who finds that their desk can be cluttered with a variety of items; you can simply store away more permeant desk items for future use as the temporary items remain exactly that- temporary! I’m always being reminded about the state of the desk so with some extra space like the one above I should keep on top of all the bits and pieces that end up on there ( I say in hope!).

L-shaped desks are close to being the ultimate office desk, especially with a hutch too! The two large surface tops provide a great space to write your notes down on, plus, still having room for your monitor screen or Laptop- gone are the days of sacrificing one for the other! I know the multi-screen system is becoming increasingly popular for its functional reason and it's aesthetic improvement to office spaces so this type of corner desk would be ideal if you’ve had similar thoughts yourself.

The black and cherry colour scheme is fantastically universal, no matter the décor or colour of your room these two will not look out of place in many, adding a very formal look to your home working space. This item is something I’m sure will be best suited for my brother’s room due to the L-shape fitting perfectly in the corner just opposite the entrance.

This corner desk I envisaged would be for larger office spaces, being an L-shape with hutch and reversible storage, it’d be a fantastic purchase for anyone looking for a multi-functioning storage desk. The large hutch provides much-needed storage shelving and cupboards for all those old pieces of paperwork that are needed from time to time. Or even somewhere to put the pictures of the family, in a great viewing spot as you are putting in those hours of hard graft!

With a pull out keyboard/ mouse shelf giving you that extra space to ensure you can write paper notes as you work without having to keep moving one out of the way for the other. I like the additional draws with this desk, it’s always good to have multiple options of storage in your workspace, meaning you can fill in areas you least expected and maybe create some extra space somewhere else in the room!

This one has some great reviews online to match its quality.

With my office measured up and the old desk slowly being taken apart, the new one is going to look superb once it’s finished! Now time to get my brother’s room measured up as well!
