Cherry Wood TV Stand

One of the best TV stands we’ve had is this cherry wood TV stand. Plus with our renovations almost finished and our friends having a few sneak peaks, they have already expressed an interest in getting a similar item!

I’ll get onto those shortly, first I’d better paint the picture- to a situation I’m sure you’ve been involved with before!

With our ‘New Year New Décor’ renovations getting well underway, the living room items to find are slowly being ticked off, I emphasize slowly!

With hours spent browsing magazines or online articles (leaving the design aspect to my much more qualified wife) and a selection of colors finally found to be narrowed down for the main color of the walls, it was now just left to find matching furniture!


The TV stand had been a burning issue over the last few weeks as it can be such a central part of any living room! Usually home to all the gadgets and gizmos, anything from the smart TV to the sound bar, we needed to make sure we got something that would fit all of our gadget requirements- and of course, match the rest of the chosen furniture!

Cherry wood seemed to be one of the narrowed down color preferences, here are the three types I thought were the best.

The dark cherry wood design is something coming back into fashion, but can often be so hard to find good quality items online to match it! The large shelving areas provide huge freedom of creativity for yourselves, whether you want to place your cable boxes or speakers next to or around the TV. Maybe even your favorite ornaments or somewhere to store the ever growing collection of remote controls, this type of stand has that ability to allow you to place what you like wherever you would like too! Sometimes ‘normal’ shaped stands that go up against a wall or towards the center of the room- just aren’t the most practical for the shape of the room. They can often get in the way of walking space, take up too much of your limited living space or cause you to re-arrange your whole room layout just to fit them in!

However, if you have similar issues, there is a solution, a corner TV stand unit!
